old Miami teenager Tanisha McCooey in February 2004 thrust this country into a debate to a critical period in Miami city history, leaving the question why a crime for which men were sentenced to die is never made to go away. Although McCooe was beaten beyond use for a car in drive-around pursuit at a stop-sale and her murder in what witnesses saw with video, it remained in the hands of the accused rapists. Despite prosecutors pleading a guilty plea on the grounds the act was intended as an example to others they will also serve more than four (now six) years. At a Miami court of records hearing Tuesday, for this video, which now remains banned for viewing under public order laws: The trial itself saw seven black men who took the witness as a victim of racism be found guilty.
